Structured cabling Media Distribution Module 110 to RJ45 Cat5e distribution for home or office Cat5e cable
routing throughout the home or office. Using the structured cabling patch panel
module you can
route cat5e cable into the panel using the 110 and the RJ45 distribution
system. Punch down the structured cable on the 110 IDC connectors and route it out using a RJ45
male connector end. The distribution of the cable by the structured cable media module
is made simple. Each module snaps into the mounting brackets as needed. The
panel closes and can be locked. The structured cabling media distribution module
110 to RJ45 inside the panel will allow you to
redistribute a connection from one location to the other by simply moving a
jack. The complete line of structured media modules make routing your system
through your home or office neat and easy.

QUESTION:How do I use
the Patch Panel Module?
The patch panel module provides network interface for local area
network applications such as ISDN or DSL services and supports Cat5e
performance. The module itself is placed in to the structured
cabling media panel box. It just clips in on the holes provided in
the panel box. Bring the Cat5e cable in from the rooms or wall
outlets and punch it down on to the 110 punch down IDC terminals.
Each terminal corresponds to a RJ45 female plug right below the 110
IDC. Each plug is numbered from 1 to 8. You can place multiple patch
panel modules in the structured cabling panel box. Use an RJ45 patch
cord to patch from the patch panel module to a ethernet hub or
switch.
QUESTION
If you are going to connect to the Cat5e data
module you would use one of the male plug types below. Either the
RJ45 plug or the EZ45 plug. The preference is yours. In either case
you will need a crimping tool for the one you choose if you don't
have one already.
