QUESTION:
Which is better a 110 block or 66 block?
It's really not a question of better but more of a
question of what is your ultimate purpose and budget. A 66 block
is relatively cheap compared to a 110 block but there are trade offs.
The 110 block has versatility for use. Use it for 110 cross connects of
voice and data and have Cat5e or Cat6 standards based on your use. You can also use the
110 block for voice or phone connections buy using the various cross
connect cables or punch down directly onto the 110 clips with out using
a patch cable. The 66 block is made for voice connections where you can cross
connect the voice lines using small bridging clips.
