 Surface Mount
boxes or Multi-Port boxes
are used in all types of
environments. They can mount under a desk or on top of a
shelf, well you know. They take the place of face plates. Leviton's
surface mount housings offer fast, economical installation and field
configuration for applications where it may not be practical to add a
wallbox, such as modular furniture environments or retrofit situations.
As with all QuickPort field-configurable
products, you configure the housing to your specific needs using
Snap-In Modules, easily rearranged if applications change. These
housings can be adapted for mounting on all types of surfaces,
including walls and furniture with tape or screws (both included);
modular furniture with a modular furniture bracket ( not included) or
to metal surfaces with magnets (not included). All housings are UL
Listed and compliant with NEC Article 800. You can Pop-In different
type ports which make these truly multi-media. Labeling plastic
covered tag space to identify your work. Installation is made
flexible with these boxes.
